Sarah
Sarah is a poet, playwright and fabulist from the North Shore of Long Island, NY. Her published works include stories and poetry: Maybe at Dawn, When Light Touches Sky, Waiting for Dunno, and The Girl Who Wished Through a Mirror.
Her first collection of plays, When We Were Briefly Strangers, was published in 2025.
She has also written a feminist essay on Henrik Ibsen's A Doll's House. She is also putting together my first musical album, What Was Wind.
Starah studied creative writing at Dartmouth and acting at Stagedoor Manor.

Advocacy
Sarah Friedberg is deeply committed to social justice and positive change. As co-chair of the Junior Board at Seeds for Change, she helps guide the nonprofit’s mission to provide seed funding for innovative projects that promote mental health, wellness, and personal growth. Her leadership focuses on supporting initiatives that empower individuals and communities, from education and art to research and holistic well-being.
Her social commitment is also reflected in her essay Burnt Flowers, where Sarah examines the enduring impact of patriarchy through Ibsen’s A Doll’s House. She connects it to contemporary movements like #MeToo, highlighting the persistent challenges women face in a society structured around male entitlement. Together, her advocacy and literary work demonstrate a thoughtful dedication to both understanding and improving the world around her.
